Companies in the Manufacturing Industry Expect Hiring, Pay and Other Increases - Talent Intelligence -The amount of manufacturers that have a positive outlook about their company’s prospects for the next 12 months has reached an all-time high — 95 percent, according to survey results released last week from the National Association of Manufacturers.

Drawing from the organization’s membership of 14,000 large and small U.S. manufacturers, NAM found businesses plan to raise wages, hiring and capital investments.

Wage growth is anticipated to reach its fastest pace in 17 years for companies in the manufacturing industry, according to the data. Production growth projections also reached a new high point.

Sales growth estimates remained at the second-highest projected pace since NAM began measuring the information.
