Organizations with the highest employee engagement levels have substantially higher levels of work alignment, regular feedback and job-related training than companies with average engagement levels, according to a new report.
The research, from GP Strategies Corporation, which provides e-learning and other solutions, found 90 percent of the organizations with the highest employee engagement levels created high-performing work environments — and also linked the work to a higher purpose.
Not surprisingly, job satisfaction was greater at organizations with highly engaged employees than at companies with lower employee engagement levels.
