pedestrian-bike-commute.pngTwenty-nine percent of workers have a second job to make extra money or pursue an interest, according to a new CareerBuilder survey.

Millennials, in particular, are doubling up on work; 44 percent of 25- to 34-year-olds and 39 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds are working two jobs, compared to 22 percent of employees 45 to 54 and 19 percent of workers who are 55 and older.

Workers of all income levels are taking on side work. Nearly 1 in 5 who make more than $75,000 currently have a second job. A third of workers making below $50,000 and 34 percent of workers who earn below $35,000 also do.
