Looking for another workplace benefit to emphasize? Stress the amount employees may save when traveling to and from your office every day.
If your workplace offers ample parking and most employees commute by car, costs could come out to be less than if they commute to work using public transportation (provided the drive isn’t too long).
Sixty-three percent of U.S. workers who commute by car to work spend less than $25 on gas a week, according to a recent CareerBuilder survey.
Although a significantly smaller amount of workers travel via public transit, nearly half of those who do spend $25 or more a week to commute to work. Fourteen percent spend more than $50.
