5-10-2016_acp.jpgA recent survey found that informational interviews may be increasing in popularity, with nearly a third of chief financial officers receiving requests for one at least once a month.

Thirty-six percent of CFOs said they feel informational interviews are somewhat or much more common than they were a decade ago.

The survey, conducted by placement service Accountemps, found informational interviews could help companies locate quality candidates. Eighty-four percent of executives said they’d contact a jobseeker who had impressed them in an informational interview about future openings in the organization.
