11-16-15_blog.jpgDespite the fact they’re now the largest generation in the Canadian workforce, only 10 percent of companies have taken steps to integrate millennial employees with their coworkers, according to a new report.

The findings, from the Human Resources Professionals Association, also indicated more than half of the companies that responded said their organization had experienced tensions between millennial employees and other age groups due to perceived work habit or values-based differences.

Informal mentorship programs, which the Human Resources Professionals Association suggested might help, aren’t offered by 60 percent of companies.
