Talent Intelligence was founded by Peter Johns and Stephen Harvey in late 2002. Their research indicated that succession planning was always on the agenda of Boards, CEOs and senior HR executives. Yet at the time there was no resource available to address the inherent ongoing risk management of succession planning. To solve this they established the Talent Intelligence business model that benchmarks a client's leadership team against the external market on a continuous basis with live intelligence integrated in to the succession planning and risk management process.
The success of Talent Intelligence with Global Fortune 500 companies, large private companies and private equity firms has been rapid. Today the company has long term partnership agreements with some of the world's most recognizable companies and brands. The business has established a global delivery capability with regional headquarters in Chicago, London, Hong Kong and Sydney.

Stephen Harvey

Prior to starting Talent Intelligence Stephen Harvey spent fifteen years in the executive search industry holding Vice President and Principal level positions with Korn/Ferry International, A T Kearney and Spencer Stuart. During this time his focus was on the appointment of senior executives and independent directors across a variety of industry sectors. He commenced his career as a naval officer where he specialized in intelligence, linguistics (Mandarin and Indonesian) and warfare operations. He received a citation medal for distinguished service in 1988.

After a career in media, where he held a number of senior management positions for leading broadcasting companies, Peter Johns became the founding Managing Director of an executive search and selection business in 1988. He led and grew the business to become a $200m plus turnover firm producing strong annual growth in a highly competitive industry. In 1999 the business was acquired by Spherion Inc., a leading US based international human resource staffing solutions and outsourcing company. Peter remained as the Chief Executive until early 2002 when he co-founded Talent Intelligence.
NORTH AMERICA
Craig Speed, President

Craig joined Talent Intelligence in January 2006 as President of the Americas. In this role he leads and directs the company’s efforts in the region.
Prior to Talent Intelligence, Craig was a VP Sales and Business Development for SunGard. Previously, he held increasingly senior sales management positions with leading companies such as Reuters, Thomson Financial and Lehman Brothers. Craig is a founding member of the KD Global Talent Development Board at the Kelly School of Business, Indiana University and is a member of the President’s Council of The Chicago Council on Foreign Relations.

Brett Moffatt, Managing Director

Brett Moffatt joined Talent Intelligence in 2005 as Managing Director UK and Europe.
Prior to joining Brett worked with Hudson Highland Group for 7 years. Most recently Brett had global responsibility for Hudson's Career Management practice and managed the Human Capital Solutions business in the UK. From 2002, Brett was responsible for establishing the Human Capital Solutions businesses across Europe. By focusing on innovation of product and tailored solutions that drove value for clients, Hudson quickly became the leading provider of career transition and career management services on the continent. Brett holds a Masters of Business and a Post Graduate qualification in Applied Science.
ASIA PACIFIC
Phillip Healy, Managing Director

Phillip joined Talent Intelligence in July 2003, initially to establish the Melbourne practice and in July 2004 he was appointed as Managing Director, Australia/New Zealand and in 2008, Managing Director Asia.
Phillip was previously Product Head of TMP' eResourcing’s (now Hudson) Human Resource Consulting Division (Australia and NZ), one of the region’s premier providers of organizational consulting, career management, leadership development and assessment services. In this role, he was also responsible for developing and exporting products that underpinned their successful launch of its European Human Resource Consulting business, now one of the largest in Europe.

Our Account Teams and support staff are the cornerstone of the Talent Intelligence business. We have appointed (and continue to hire) only the very best in the industry.
Our team have gained extensive experience with global consulting and strategy firms such as A.T. Kearney, Egon Zehnder, Korn/Ferry International, Russell Reynolds & Associates, Spencer Stuart & Associates, Heidrick & Struggles and HudsonHighland Group. Others have worked in military intelligence and as knowledge managers in leading strategy consulting firms. Others have gained experience in senior corporate strategic human resource roles with Fortune 500 companies. Our teams have worked across multiple geographies, industry sectors and functional areas. In addition we have deep linguistic skills such as: Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesian, Spanish, Russian, German, Portuguese, French and Italian.
Talent Intelligence Managers undertake key account management and lead the collection, collation and dissemination of the talent intelligence generated on a dedicated and exclusive basis for our clients.
